Model with long brown curly hairWe’ve all had those days when you’re all ready to face the day or a big event and your hair just doesn’t want to co-operate.

But whether the blow out you spent time perfecting is looking worse for wear a few hours later, your locks suddenly develop oily strands, or hair frizz ruins your carefully crafted curls, there are some easy ways that you can revive your hairstyle and save your look. Just give these simple solutions a try.

Reviving Curly Hair

To put the life back into curly hair that has frizzed or lost some of its shape, scrunch your hair with some hair mousse, coil your curls and then use hair pins to hold them in place before giving them a blast with a hair dryer on the lowest setting possible. After that, let your hair cool for a few seconds and then release your curls and enjoy!

Reviving Oily Hair

Start by giving the can a good shake and then blasting the dry shampoo evenly through your hair. Use your hands to then massage the product into your strands and scalp, leave for a few minutes, and then brush out. If you don’t have dry shampoo, or if you have a little more time on your hands, use your bathroom sink to wash some shampoo through the front sections of your hair and then quickly rough dry your hair using your blow-dryer to create some fresh looking strands around your face.

Reviving Your Blow-Dry

To add life back into your blow-dried locks, mist some leave-in hair conditioner into your hair to refresh your locks and then use your hair brush and blow-dryer to put your style back into place.

Reviving Limp Hair

Model with messy blonde hairIf your hairstyle is looking worse for wear due to some limp locks then add some lift back in by backcombing your roots. Lift up small sections of your hair, insert the teeth of a pin tail comb and then gently brush your hair back down into itself to add volume and instantly perk up your hair strands.

With these easy tips you should be able to fix any potential hairstyle disasters. If all else fails after that, then a ponytail or messy updo is your best bet!
