Description

This is a short fun style with plenty of jagged-cut layers through the top for height and definition. The back is clippered short for a neat finish, and the sides are also clippered close to the head. It's great for those wanting a low maintenance hairstyle.

Styling Steps

1. Apply Gel Spray

Gelspraytop

Evenly mist gel spray around the top and sides to create a soft hold style. Gel spray will hold well and will not look wet or weigh the hair down.

2. Style Hair Down at the Back Using Gel-wax

Backdown

Apply some gel-wax to your fingertips then pull through the ends of your hair in a downward motion to achieve a semi-wet, textured result.

3. Style Sides Out Using Gel-wax

Sidesout

Pinch and drag your hair in an upwards motion using gel-wax. Using gel-wax will give luster and shine with soft texture.

4. Gel-wax and Pinch Hair for Texture

Toppinching

Apply gel-wax to your fingertips and then pinch small clumps of hair in an up and forward motion. For a wetter look, use more gel-wax.

5. Lift Roots Using Gel-wax

Toplifting

Apply some gel-wax to your fingertips and then rub it gently into your roots while lifting your strands. Using gel-wax in this manner will add shine and texture.

6. Apply Hairspray

Hairsprayfinishing

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
