Our model is rocking this formal layered hairstyle that has intense curls from eye level down. Her tresses (a long lock of hair) are styled so that they sit at shoulder length and show off the bigger curls. This style creates volume and body to the hair itself. You need to apply product to hold the curls in as well as to give your hair a flawless shine that is irresistible. The shape of this 'do is perfect to complement an oblong face shape and needs product for hold and shine. The side swept bangs are ideal for creating a sultry look and bringing the attention up to the eyes. To further this look, you can do a bold eye to ensure that you do this attention justice. Keep in mind that you do not want to do too much, so make sure that your make-up is not caked on your face and never forget the highlighter on your check bones to finish off the look.
This hairstyle will suit women of all ages. The light blonde color takes this look to the next level but will also look nice with some darker highlights in your hair to keep the hairstyle looking fresh and new. If you are going to color your hair, you need to touch up your roots before your color starts to look fake and cheap. Due to the side bangs creating attention on your eyes and forehead, glasses might not suit this look as well as the bangs will end up covering your glasses half way through the day when the curls drop a little.

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.
Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your right eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even right part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.
A paddle brush is used for detangling the hair and can be used to smooth out straight hair when blow-drying or styling. It is a must have for every household.
4. Blow-dry Using a Paddle Brush
Working in sections starting from the back, place the paddle brush close to the roots and drag it through the strands slowly, taking care not to overheat your hair. Once dry, continue to a new section, completing the back, the sides and then the top section last of all.
5. Use Medium Hot Rollers
A medium hot roller is used to give your hair looser curls and can also be used for body.
6. Apply Hot Rollers Vertically to the Side
Take a section of hair no wider than the diameter of the hot roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller vertically, making sure to roll it backwards, along the hair shaft to the roots and secure it with a pin or clip. Keep the rollers in your hair until they cool.
7. Apply Hot Rollers Through the Back
Take the entire back section of your hair, and then starting from the crown, take a smaller section of hair no wider than the diameter of the hot roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller down the hair shaft until it meets your head and then secure it in place with a pin or clip. Repeat this step until you have reached the nape of your neck and the entire back section of your hair is completed. Keep the rollers in your hair until they cool.
8. Scrunch Gel-Wax Through Hair with Fingers
