Description

Looking for a short Pixie haircut inspiration? Check out this short style that flaunts gorgeous platinum blonde hair. This short hairstyle makes for a beautiful and fun look. Our model is flaunting gorgeous platinum blonde pixie cut here that shows off her best features. This pixie cut is styled straight across, with the layers and sections on the sides tapered in gently to frame the face and soften it. The clipped layers at the back are soft, while the longer lengths at the front are longer around her forehead, framing her face perfectly. This short platinum blonde pixie is a haircut that suits most face shapes, mostly round and oval. It works exceptionally well for women with narrow foreheads, like a triangular face shape, and those with square-shaped faces.

This haircut is easy to maintain since it requires only a tiny amount of product for hold and shine, but you can also twist wax through the ends for texture. Keeping your hair platinum blonde is pretty easy with some dark roots and virgin hair color. But once that light icy blonde color fades, you will suddenly have a problem, so it would be best if you had intensive weekly toning treatments to keep the blond looking cool and fresh throughout the week. Right now it's the shortest day of the year. So let's take a moment to look at some of the best products for your hair to give yourself that platinum blonde color that everyone has been dying for.

Styling Steps

1. Apply Mousse

step 1

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

2. Part to the Left

step 2

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

3. Finger Dry the Back with Blow-dryer

step 3

Use your blow-dryer and your fingers to dry the back of your hair by moving your hair around to allow the heat to pass through it.

4. Use a Small Radial Brush

step 4

A small radial brush is used on shorter hair types to add more body or in longer hair types to create curl. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.

5. Blow-dry Left Side Forward

step 5

Take a section of your hair from your ear to your temple the same diameter as the brush. Place your brush underneath the hair starting at the roots and pull the hair slowly in a forward and downward direction with your blow-dryer above. Be sure the section is dry and then repeat the step on a new section of hair directly above.

6. Blow-dry Right Side Forward

step 6

Take a section of your hair from your ear to your temple that is the same diameter as the brush. Place your brush underneath the hair starting at the roots and pull the hair slowly in a forward and downward direction with your blow-dryer above. Be sure the section is dry and then repeat the step on a new section of hair directly above.

7. Blow-dry Bangs Forward

step 7

When blow-drying your bangs forward, clip your hair back leaving only your bangs out. Position your bangs evenly in your brush, taking the hair in a forward direction. Blow-dry from roots to ends, keeping the tension consistent, and evenly distribute heat over the whole section of hair that you are working on. Repeat until the hair is dry. This will stop any frizz that may occur.

8. Use Moulding Cream for Texture

step 8

Apply moulding cream to your fingertips and then pinch small clumps of hair in an up and forward motion. Pinch the clumps in different directions for a messier look.

9. Style Bangs Forward Using Moulding Cream

step 9

Apply a small amount of moulding cream to your fingertips and then using your fingers, rake through your bangs to the ends for hold and texture.

10. Style the Left Side Forward and Wispy Using Wax

step 10

Apply wax to your fingertips and then grip the left section of your hair from the mid-lengths and drag it in a forward and down direction for a wispy and textured result.

11. Style the Right Side Forward and Wispy Using Wax

step 11

Apply wax to your fingertips and then grip the right section of your hair from the mid-lengths and drag it in a forward and down direction for a wispy and textured result.
