Description

Short and simple is what this pixies cut is about. The uniform layers are jagged cut all over to maintain a wispy edge for a dainty finish. This look is great for those looking for a low-fuss hairstyle that takes no time at all to style. A little product is needed to style this 'do.

Styling Steps

1. Wax Hair Down at the Back

Backdown

Apply some wax to your fingertips and then pull through the ends of your hair in a downward motion to achieve a sculptured look. Pinch clumps of hair in different directions for a messier result.

2. Style Sides Down Using Wax

Sidesdown

Using a small amount of wax, work it through the mid-lengths and ends in a downward, pinching motion. For added texture, apply more pinching and more wax.

3. Flatten the Top Using Wax

Topsmoothforward

Apply wax to the palms of your hands, and then starting at the top-back area, drag your hands forward, flattening your hair down as you go. For a wetter look use more wax.

4. Style Bangs to the Right Using Wax

Bangsforwardright

Apply wax to your fingertips then drag through your bangs, sweeping the hair to the right as you go. Pinching the ends will create soft texture.

5. Apply Hairspray

Hairsprayfinishing

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
