Savannah Chrisley Medium Wavy Light Platinum Blonde Hairstyle with Side Swept Bangs

Added: 07 Jan 2019
Savannah Chrisley is making this hairstyle look easy! This edgy pixie cut is doing her face shape justice. Firstly, the two tones in her hair are giving the look some life which is always nice to see. The shorter side is showing off her facial features whereas the longer side is shaping her face to create the perfect oval face shape.

Styling this look in the morning does not take long, however, you are going to need to go for a haircut every 6 weeks or so to ensure that the hairstyle keeps its shape and looks fresh. If you are dying your hair, you will need to touch up your roots every 6 weeks as well.

The natural waves give this look body and volume, however, you can straighten your hair as well if you wish to change up the style a bit.
Not much makeup is needed when you have this look as your hair will be the star of the show!

step 1

Comb your hair into the desired direction that you require for styling.

step 2

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

step 3

To blow-dry your bangs you will need to take your brush and firstly make sure the section is no wider than the diameter of the brush. Next, place your brush on top of your head and under your section. Using your blow-dryer on a medium setting, blow-dry your hair from the roots, slowly working your way to the ends. Make sure to keep the blow-dryer in front of the brush at all times. Continue this step until the bangs are completely dry.

step 4

Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.

step 5

When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. step 6

Starting above your ear and working your way up to your part, take a small to medium section of hair and clamp it between the barrels of your curling iron. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release.

step 7

To get your sides to sit out, apply a small amount of gel to your fingertips and then working mainly on the ends, pinch them while dragging the hair in an out and upwards motion. The more gel and the more pinching that you apply, the more textured the result.

step 8

Apply gel to the palms of your hands and then starting at the front hairline, drag your hands back over your head, smoothing as you go. For better gel distribution, we recommend using a fine tooth comb to work the gel through your hair.
