Description

Lady Gaga is not only blowing us away on the big screens but she is also blowing us away with this medium length bob. Her waves are subtle which is refreshing. You are still going to need to use a bit of product to keep the waves from blowing away in the wind. The light blonde hair is a gorgeous color and the fact that she is allowing her natural hair color to shine through the roots look nice with this hairstyle. Keep in mind that even though the roots are showing a bit, you are still going to need to touch up your color every 6 weeks or so in order for the regrowth to not get out of hand.

Due to the fact this is a fairly simple hairstyle, you want to keep your makeup application the same. A nice smokey eye, good contouring, and a nude lip will look gorgeous with this look every time. Now you can also pull off a grammy worthy hairstyle!

Styling Steps

1. Part the Middle

Placeholder articles

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

2. Use a Blow-dryer and Fingers to Dry Your Hair Off

Placeholder articles

Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.

3. Use Large Hot Rollers

Placeholder articles

A large hot roller is used to give your hair a larger curl and to add lots of body.

4. Apply Hairspray

Placeholder articles

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
