Description
Hilary Duff is showing us what dreams are made of! She is not only loving new motherhood but she is also showing off that she can still show up to an event in style. This hairstyle will not take you long to do at all but you are going to need some product to keep those loose curls in place throughout the day. The nice thing about this look is the fact that her bangs are open enough so that this look doesn't cover up her face. This means that you can wear glasses with this hairstyle without taking away to the overall look of the style.
When it comes to your makeup, I would suggest a smokey eye if you want this look to be more formal and a natural smokey eye for a whole day look. Your cheekbones need a bit of contouring as the curls won't do all the contouring of your face. Do not forget your best friend... your highlighter!
If you are looking for a casual every day look, then look no further as Hilary has shown us all how to do it in style!

Styling Steps
Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.
2. Use a Blow-dryer and Fingers to Dry Your Hair Off
Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.
3. Curl Mid-lengths and Ends with a Curling Iron
Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.
4. Style Bangs to the Left Using Gel
Apply gel to your fingertips then gently rake through your bangs, sweeping the hair to the left as you go.
5. Style Bangs to the Right Using Gel
Apply gel to your fingertips then gently rake through your bangs, sweeping the hair to the right as you go.
To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
