Description

Soft waves are added to the sides and back of her long hair to give this look movement and subtle shape. This casual 'do is easy to re-create with the right tools and needs product to tame fly-away hair. Regular trims will also help maintain a healthy look and feel by preventing split ends.

Camilla Belle has dainty, expressive facial features and a strong bone structure, which is nicely highlighted by her soft wavy tresses here. Having an round face shape, Camilla looks best in longer 'dos with a sleek finish to them. This simple waved 'do looks great on Camille and gives her a cool, casual vibe while the blunt ends gives her hair a thicker appearance. She would look great in bangs as it would give her broad forehead some coverage, however the grown out fringe is working well for her too.

Camille has a cool skin tone, dark eyebrows and green eyes. She looks great in darker, richer tones of brown the best as well as auburn shades. Here, she goes with her natural brunette roots with some golden blonde tones through the lengths and ends for a boost of color. This brightens up her complexion and gives her an all-over warm glow while bringing out her fabulous eyes.

Camilla Belle Routh is an American actress. Her works include The Ballad of Jack and Rose, When a Stranger Calls, 10,000 BC, The Quiet, Push, and Breakaway.

Styling Steps

1. Part the Middle

Placeholder articles

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

2. Scrunch Hair Dry with a Diffuser and Fingers

Placeholder articles

Lift your hair up with your fingers and move the diffuser up to the ends, motioning the diffuser to the scalp in circular movements. Make sure the blow-dryer speed is on low and try not to completely dry the hair off. Leaving a little bit of moisture will allow the hair to dry naturally.

3. Use Large Hot Rollers

Placeholder articles

A large hot roller is used to give your hair a larger curl and to add lots of body.

4. Apply Hot Rollers to the Side

Placeholder articles

Take a section of hair no wider than the diameter of the hot roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller vertically down the hair shaft to the roots and secure it with a pin or clip. Continue applying the rollers throughout your sides until they meet up with the other rollers applied to your head to complete this style. Keep the rollers in your hair until they cool.

5. Apply Hot Rollers Through the Back

Placeholder articles

Take the entire back section of your hair, and then starting from the crown, take a smaller section of hair no wider than the diameter of the hot roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller down the hair shaft until it meets your head and then secure it in place with a pin or clip. Repeat this step until you have reached the nape of your neck and the entire back section of your hair is completed. Keep the rollers in your hair until they cool.

6. Comb Hair

Placeholder articles

Comb your hair into the desired direction that you require for styling.

7. Apply Smoothing Shine

Placeholder articles

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

8. Apply Hairspray

Placeholder articles

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
