Alessandra Ambrosio Long Straight Chocolate Brunette Hairstyle - Visual Story

Description

Cool and casual is the main idea for this look. These locks are left to fall naturally over the shoulder showing off the long layers cut around the edges. This simple style is easy to maintain with regular trims to prevent split ends and great for those with fine to medium hair.

Styling Steps

1. Apply Moisturizer

step 1

Apply a small amount of hair moisturizer to the palm of your hand and distribute it evenly through the mid-lengths and the ends. Moisturizer will help your hair to maintain good condition and protect your strands from heat as you style.

2. Use a Blow-dryer and Fingers to Dry Your Hair Off

step 2

Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.

3. Apply Smoothing Shine

step 3

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

4. Apply Hairspray

step 4

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
