Sandra Bullock Long Straight Brunette Hairstyle

Description

Cool and casual is the main aim for this style. This layered mane is left out to show off the jagged cut layers around the back and sides which gives this simple look shape and movement. This is best suited for those with fine to medium hair.

Sandra has a cool skin tone and hair color, so naturally she sticks to a cool makeup palette. Her flawless skin is a great base to start with, but she never overdoes her makeup application or tries trends that would not suit her style.

Makeup:
Here, we see Sandra’s classic look - brown eyeliner, soft pink blush and a light nude-pink lipstick. Sandra uses a pencil liner and softly blends it outwards at the outer corner of the eye. She uses a pearl eye shadow to bring extra light to her eyes to avoid the “raccoon” look that can sometimes happen with dark eyeliner. Next, she uses a very light pink blush with a bit of highlighter on the cheekbones, and a matching soft pink shade on her lips. If you want something more bold, go for a dark berry pink instead.

Styling Steps

1. Apply Moisturizer

Placeholder articles

Apply a small amount of hair moisturizer to the palm of your hand and distribute it evenly through the mid-lengths and the ends. Moisturizer will help your hair to maintain good condition and protect your strands from heat as you style.

2. Use a Blow-dryer and Fingers to Dry Your Hair Off

Placeholder articles

Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.

3. Apply Smoothing Shine

Placeholder articles

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

4. Apply Hairspray

Placeholder articles

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
