Leslie Mann Long Straight Copper Brunette Hairstyle with Light Red Highlights- Visual Story

Description

Leslie tries out a light brown base with blonde highlights on the top layers. This gives her a more subdued look; so try out this color if you want a sophisticated take on blonde. This casual hairstyle is left out to show off the long layers cut around the side and back which gives this simple style movement and shape. This is great for those with fine to medium hair looking for a low-fuss style that is easy to maintain with regular trims.

Styling Steps

1. Apply Mousse

step 1

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

2. Part the Middle

step 2

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

3. Use a Blow-dryer and Fingers to Dry Your Hair Off

step 3

Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.

4. Piece the Ends Using Wax

step 4

Apply a small amount of wax to your fingertips and then lightly piece and pinch the ends of your hair.
