We let you know how to copy Chelsea Handler's hair and makeup look! If you love comedienne du jour Chelsea Handler's beach babe looks, have no fear - this is a low maintenance hairstyle that can be worn by almost anyone. Well, anyone that suits blonde hair that is! But even if you don't copy the hair color, her wash and go style is easy to achieve.

These light blonde locks are left to fall over the shoulders showing off the jagged layers cut through the edges to lighten the length adding shape and movement. This look is great for those with round face shapes and needs regular trims to prevent split ends.

To get Chelsea's bed head look, you will need to have shoulder length or longer hair with layering throughout the ends. Start by blow-drying your hair straight with just a bit of wave at the bottom. Or, if you hate blow-drying your hair, let it dry naturally with extra large hair rollers in it. Once your hair is set, unroll it and create a hair part down the middle. Tease it at the roots and throughout the ends to give it that messy finish, and voila - your bed head look is complete.

On the makeup front, Chelsea keeps it plain and simple. A bit of brown eyeliner, mascara and a pretty pink lipstick is all she needs to get glammed up. Those of you with warm skin tones can also use nude lipstick for a different vibe.

Chelsea Handler's hair and makeup isn't for women who like to look preened and high maintenance, but if you're a laid-back lady with a simple style, this look is just for you.

Styling Steps

1. Apply Mousse

Placeholder articles

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

2. Part the Middle

Placeholder articles

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

3. Use a Medium Radial Brush

Placeholder articles

A medium radial brush is used on medium to long hair types to smooth out wavy or curly hair textures or to add body to straight hair. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.

4. Blow-dry the Back Under

Placeholder articles

To blow-dry under, start at the nape/back and place your brush under the section of hair close to the nape. With the dryer held up over the hair, pull the brush from the roots and continue to the mid length's, keeping the blow-dryer following over the top. Once you reach the ends, curve them under. Repeat this step until the section is completely dry.

5. Use a Blow-dryer to Kick Out the Sides

Placeholder articles

To blow-dry the sides, take out your first sections from the front and clip the rest of the hair up. Place your brush on top of the section, and starting from the roots, blow-dry down using tension as you go. Next, place the blow-dryer underneath the hair and continue to blow-dry the ends out. Continue this step until the hair is dry.

6. Piece the Ends Using Wax

Placeholder articles

Apply a small amount of wax to your fingertips and then lightly piece and pinch the ends of your hair.

7. Apply Smoothing Shine

Placeholder articles

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

8. Apply Hairspray

Placeholder articles

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
