Who doesn't want to look like Andre Velencoso? This chic hairstyle for men is ideal for anyone who has a long face that wants a bit of definition on their check bones and to cover the receding hairline on the side of the face. The back and the sides of this hairstyle is short to maintain a tidy finish to the edges, and the top of the hair is left longer which allows you to create a path on the side of the hairstyle and allows for a flow down the face. This is an outstanding wash and go hairstyle that suits any type of hairstyle as well as any hair color. Keep in mind that you are going to need to have the sides of your hair cut every 4-6 weeks to keep this hairstyle looking fresh and sexy. Even though this hairstyle is casual, use a bit of hair product to keep this look in place as well as the little hairs at bay. This will turn the casual look of the hairstyle in a night time favourite amongst your peers and admirers.

It does not matter what your age is or if you wear glasses or not, put on a night suit or your casual wear, gel your hair nicely and you are good to go out on the town. Now you can look like a model as well!

Styling Steps

1. Apply Mousse

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

2. Part to the Left

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

3. Blow-dry in Circular Movements with Fingers and Palm

Using a blow-dryer on a low heat setting, use the palm of your hand in slow circular movements to dry off the hair and to create a disorganized effect.

4. Finger Dry the Back with Blow-dryer

Use your blow-dryer and your fingers to dry the back of your hair by moving your hair around to allow the heat to pass through it.

5. Style Bangs Up and to the Right Using Moulding Cream

Apply a small amount of moulding cream to your fingers, then starting at your roots, apply the moulding cream as you drag your hair in an upwards, to the right, motion. Use moulding cream sparingly as too much will make your hair sticky and hard to work with.

6. Use Moulding Cream for Texture

Apply moulding cream to your fingertips and then pinch small clumps of hair in an up and forward motion. Pinch the clumps in different directions for a messier look.
