Visual Story
Description
Paris Hilton is a fashion goddess and we are living for her formal straight hair look right now! This look is a great choice because it opens up your face which allows everyone to see your makeup nicely as well as your gorgeous necklaces that you want to show off. Due to the way that the hair falls, glasses will not suit this look. Remember to put product on your hair before you straighten it to help protect it from the heat of the straightening iron. Your are going to need to cut your hair once every 6 weeks or so to ensure that your ends stay healthy and you keep the blunt look at the bottom of the hairstyle.
When it comes to your makeup-application, the sky is the limit! That is why I love this style so much because you can see all your facial features nicely which means that you can show off your makeup skills. You can also add false lashes that are not too in your face as they will make your eyes pop nicely. Make sure that you do not have too much going on when it comes to your makeup. Choose one or two focal points and make that shine! Also, do not forget to highlight and contour your face and neck area as they can be seen nicely with this look. You are going to love this style as your new go to hairstyle for your formal events!

Styling Steps
Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your right eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even right part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.
2. Apply Straightening Balm
Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.
3. Use a Straightening Iron
When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
