Wendie Malick is looking as gorgeous as ever with this short haircut. Short styles that add volume on top of your hair can elongate your face. This is an ideal style for someone who wants to make their face look longer than it is. The volume also helps to give off the illusion that you have more hair than you actually do. This technique is good for someone who has hair that is thinning out. Short hairstyles do work well for round faces, oval faces and if you add the bangs, they'll soften the edges of face shapes such as diamond and triangle. In addition to being easy to style, this haircut is neither too short nor too long.
You'll need to cut your hair every 4 weeks or so to make sure that the color stays on your hair and that your bob stays in shape. The color will need to be touched up every six weeks or so to ensure that it remains vibrant and that your roots do not show through.
When applying makeup, you want to keep it simple and natural. Browns and golds can be used on your lids or even as a simple wing liner. Your look will be complete with a nude or pastel lip color. To make your makeup application more unique, you can use your favorite lipstick color to finish off the look. Highlight and contour your face and neck area to give off the illusion of the perfect oval face shape and you are ready to take on your day!

Comb your hair into the desired direction that you require for styling.
It is always a good idea to work in sections. This will help to make your hair styling quicker, easier to follow and more orderly. Comb your hair out and place your hair up into four equal sections, two in front and two in back, starting from ear to ear.
3. Blow-dry Straight Back
Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the nape/back. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends.
4. Blow-dry Straight on the Sides
Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the sides. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends. Repeat this step on a new section directly above the dry one.
To blow-dry the crown/top sections, take a section of hair no bigger than the diameter of the brush and blow-dry the hair placing the brush under the section of hair. With your blow-dryer in front of the brush, follow the brush in an upwards direction at the roots and an outwards position at the ends for volume and softness. Continue until the section is dry.
To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
