Description

Julianne Hough is making this hairstyle look like such fun! It is a fun short bob that can be paired with any outfit or occasion. As you can see, Julianne is rocking fun makeup as well as waves which give this look some much-needed life and volume. You are going to need to trim your hair every 6 weeks or so to keep the ends of your hair looking fresh and keep the style in shape. You are also going to need to redo your color every 6 weeks as well to keep your color from fading.

As you can see, when it comes to your makeup, you can have some fun! Keep in mind that you are still going to need to contour your face as well as your neck area.

Styling Steps

1. Part the Middle

Placeholder articles

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

2. Curl Mid-lengths and Ends with a Curling Iron

Placeholder articles

Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.

3. Apply Hairspray

Placeholder articles

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
