Description

Caroline Kaplan is showing us that the best thing you can do with your hair is embrace your natural hair texture! This is the perfect example of showing off your natural hair texture and we are loving it! The subtle waves in her hair help to frame and shape her face nicely and it looks like an effortless hairstyle that you can style in little to no time. The only issue with this hairstyle is that glasses will not suit this look due to the way that the bangs fall over her eye area. So, it is time to take out your contact lenses. You are going to need to cut your hair once every 4 weeks or so to keep your ends healthy and split end free.

Makeup-wise, you are going to want to stick with the more natural looking vibe, so stick to your gold and brown colors. Do not forget to highlight and contour your face and neck area.

Styling Steps

1. Part Hair in a Zigzag

Placeholder articles

Using the corner of your comb, create a straight part and then place your comb at the hairline and drag it through your hair, crisscrossing from left to right as you go. When you reach your crown, lift the comb up and then split the hair to each side, pulling it down to reveal your zigzag part.

2. Use Small Hot Rollers

Placeholder articles

A small hot roller is used to give your hair tighter curls.

3. Apply Hairspray

Placeholder articles

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
