Description

Sarah Gadon looks lovely here in this honey blonde shoulder length 'do that is slightly waved. This 'do will suit oval, triangle and diamond face shapes the best, and will work nicely with straight and wavy hair textures. Minimal styling is needed for this casual 'do, but regular trims are required to keep the ends looking blunt and healthy.

Sarah Gadon is a Canadian actress. She first gained recognition for her performances in David Cronenberg's films A Dangerous Method and Cosmopolis.

Styling Steps

1. Apply Mousse

Placeholder articles

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

2. Part the Middle

Placeholder articles

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

3. Use a Paddle Brush

Placeholder articles

A paddle brush is used for detangling the hair and can be used to smooth out straight hair when blow-drying or styling. It is a must have for every household.

4. Blow-dry Using a Paddle Brush

Placeholder articles

Working in sections starting from the back, place the paddle brush close to the roots and drag it through the strands slowly, taking care not to overheat your hair. Once dry, continue to a new section, completing the back, the sides and then the top section last of all.

5. Use a Large Curling Iron

Placeholder articles

A large curling iron is used to create large soft curls and can be used to add body.

6. Curl Mid-lengths and Ends with a Curling Iron

Placeholder articles

Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.

7. Style Sides Messy Using Moulding Cream

Placeholder articles

Apply moulding cream to your sides using your fingertips and mess the hair in a circular motion, piecing the ends out as you go and as messy as you like. For a softer hold, use only a small amount of moulding cream.

8. Apply Hairspray

Placeholder articles

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
