Light Brown Medium Hairdo With Side Bangs And Blonde Highlights

Added: 30 Jul 2020
There is so much going on with this look and yet, it is so simple for you to style at home. It is mainly a straight hairstyle that you can get by using rollers to blow dry your hair. Then all you need to do is flick out the ends to draw attention away from your chin area. This is how this hairstyle is going to help frame and shape your face. The highlights also give this look life. You are going to love this hairstyle!

You are going to need to cut your hair once every 6 weeks or so to ensure that your ends stay healthy and that the color sticks well to your hair. It would be best to touch up your color once every 6 weeks or so to ensure that your highlights stay vibrant and gorgeous.

When it comes to your makeup, you want to keep it simple. Remember to have only one main feature for your makeup such as your eyes or your lips. With this look, I would put the focus on my eyes and do a more natural lip. A bit of highlighter on your nose, chin and forehead area, contour your jawline and outside of your nose and you will have the perfect makeup application for a great hairstyle!

step 1

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

step 2

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the nape/back. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends.

step 3

Take a section of your hair from your ear to your temple that is the same diameter as the brush. Place your brush on top of the hair starting at the roots and pull the hair slowly in an outwards direction with your blow-dryer following in front. Repeat this step and then once the roots are dry, drag the brush to the mid-lengths and then slowly turn the brush in an inwards direction, flicking it through the ends.

step 4

Take a section of your hair from your ear to your temple that is the same diameter as the brush. Place your brush on top of the hair starting at the roots and pull the hair slowly in an outwards direction with your blow-dryer following in front. Repeat this step and then once the roots are dry, drag the brush to the mid-lengths and then slowly turn the brush in an inwards direction, flicking it through the ends.

step 5

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
