Description

This brunette bob is is cut to sit at the jaw-line then blow-waved beautifully to achieve a simple and smooth shape. The jagged cut bangs are also smoothed down to frame the top of the face and completes the over-all look brilliantly.

Constance Zimmer looks chic and sophisticated here in a classic pageboy bob. This is the ideal haircut for ladies who want an elegant looking ‘do with minimal styling time. This is one hairstyle that never goes out of fashion and looks great day or night. Constance has an oval face shape, which can pull off the pageboy bob easily. The jagged ends also break up any blunt or heavy edges and give the ‘do an overall soft and feminine finish. This is a good haircut for women with fine and/or flyaway hair.

Constance’s color is also looking fabulous here. Her shiny espresso brown locks compliment her hairstyle nicely and bring out her hazel green eye color. This shade of brunette is perfect for ladies with cool skin or pink undertones like Constance.

Constance Zimmer is an American actress who is best known for her roles on the television series Entourage and Boston Legal.

Styling Steps

1. Apply Moisturizer

Placeholder articles

Apply a small amount of hair moisturizer to the palm of your hand and distribute it evenly through the mid-lengths and the ends. Moisturizer will help your hair to maintain good condition and protect your strands from heat as you style.

2. Use a Medium Radial Brush

Placeholder articles

A medium radial brush is used on medium to long hair types to smooth out wavy or curly hair textures or to add body to straight hair. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.

3. Blow-dry the Back Under

Placeholder articles

To blow-dry under, start at the nape/back and place your brush under the section of hair close to the nape. With the dryer held up over the hair, pull the brush from the roots and continue to the mid length's, keeping the blow-dryer following over the top. Once you reach the ends, curve them under. Repeat this step until the section is completely dry.

4. Blow-dry the Sides Under

Placeholder articles

To blow-dry the sides, take out a small section of hair from the front and clip the rest of the hair away. Next, place the brush under the section and then pull the brush and hair forward around your face (this curving motion creates body). Place the hair-dryer on top of the brush until you reach the ends and then turn the ends under. Repeat until dry.

5. Blow-dry Bangs Forward

Placeholder articles

When blow-drying your bangs forward, clip your hair back leaving only your bangs out. Position your bangs evenly in your brush, taking the hair in a forward direction. Blow-dry from roots to ends, keeping the tension consistent, and evenly distribute heat over the whole section of hair that you are working on. Repeat until the hair is dry. This will stop any frizz that may occur.

6. Apply Smoothing Shine

Placeholder articles

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

7. Apply Hairspray

Placeholder articles

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
