Description

Constance Wu rocks a head-turning hairstyle here with this curly bob in a plum pink tone. Natural waves give this simple hairstyle tons of bounce and movement. The top is parted in the center and with the body and volume of the hair, this 'do is great to frame a long face. Product is needed for hold and shine and regular trims will help prevent split ends. Constance's color will need regular touch ups as well, as bright tones such as this one are prone to fading.

Constance Tianming Wu is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Kathy on the web series EastSiders and as Jessica Huang in the ABC comedy series Fresh Off the Boat.

Styling Steps

1. Part the Middle

Placeholder articles

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

2. Scrunch Hair Dry with a Diffuser and Fingers

Placeholder articles

Lift your hair up with your fingers and move the diffuser up to the ends, motioning the diffuser to the scalp in circular movements. Make sure the blow-dryer speed is on low and try not to completely dry the hair off. Leaving a little bit of moisture will allow the hair to dry naturally.

3. Apply Smoothing Shine

Placeholder articles

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.
