Description

Jennifer Aniston wears her classic loose beachy waves here in her medium length blonde locks. This is Jen's go-to style because it works well for her face shape and hair texture. Her hair is parted down the middle and with the added body and volume from her waves, this 'do is great to frame an oblong or heart shaped face. Product is needed for hold and shine and regular trims will help prevent split ends. Jen's color is also looking fabulous here with a honey base and beige blonde highlights throughout.

Styling Steps

1. Part the Middle

step 1

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

2. Apply Mousse

step 2

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

3. Scrunch Hair Dry with a Diffuser and Fingers

step 3

Lift your hair up with your fingers and move the diffuser up to the ends, motioning the diffuser to the scalp in circular movements. Make sure the blow-dryer speed is on low and try not to completely dry the hair off. Leaving a little bit of moisture will allow the hair to dry naturally.

4. Use a Large Curling Iron

step 4

A large curling iron is used to create large soft curls and can be used to add body.

5. Use a Curling Iron to Curl the Back

step 5

Starting from the back, take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your roots. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards. Continue this step until the entire back section of your hair is completed.

6. Use a Curling Iron on the Front and Sides

step 6

Starting at the front, take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your roots. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards. Continue this step until all of the hair through your front and sides has been curled.

7. Scrunch Hair Using Moulding Cream and Fingers

step 7

Apply your moulding cream to the ends of your hair and then lightly pinch and scrunch the hair before allowing your moulding cream to set.
