This is a classic hairstyle that you can never go wrong with. Donna D'Errico is showing us that sometimes we just need to go back to the basic hairstyles and enjoy the classics. It is like that little black dress in the back of the cupboard that you know you can always turn to. Well, simple curls will always be there for you. The curls will frame your face and also give your hair some volume and life. You are going to need to apply some product to your hair to help keep your curls in place throughout the day. Do not forget that as the day goes by, your curls will start drop so make sure that they are tight when you start the day so that by the end of the day you still have curls. You are going to need to cut your hair once every 6 weeks or so to ensure that your ends stay healthy and split end free.
When it comes to your makeup application, you can keep it simple with a perfect makeup application to suit the occasion of the day. When you highlight and contour your face, make sure that you pay attention to your nose and forehead area as these are the focal points on your face created by your new hairstyle.

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.
2. Curl Mid-lengths and Ends with a Curling Iron
Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.
To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
