Description

Charlotte McKinney looks sexy here in long tousled waves that have a sleek and shiny finish. This hairstyle is ideal for wavy hair textures and suits all face shapes. Layers have been cut throughout the ends to add movement to Charlotte's long locks, while layers around the eyes and cheekbones add character. Regular trims and color toning treatments are needed to keep these wheat blonde locks looking shiny, healthy and a gorgeous beige blonde tone.

If anyone can pull off sexy curls, it's Charlotte McKinney but now you can too! This hairstyle has very soft curls towards the end of the hair and it is layered in such a way that her fringe contours her cheek bones, forehead and chin area. This hairstyle is to die for! Make sure that you style your hair so that the end pieces of your fringe curls into your cheek bones ensuring the perfect colour lines. If you have wavy hair, then this is the hairstyle for you as the waves give this hairstyle a sleek and shiny finish. You are going to need to keep your layers trimmed every 4-6 weeks to keep the contouring effect of this hairstyle. If you are going to color your hair, you need to ensure that your roots do not show too much as your hairstyle is going to look old and scruffy.

Due to the waves covering majority of your eyes, you are going to need to make sure that you have natural looking eye make-up as well as a bold lip to pull the focus of your face onto your lip and chin area. You are going to need to add an extra 20 minutes into your morning routine to achieve this look. Use products to ensure that the hairstyle stays. You are going to look photo ready at any point of the day with this new and exciting hairstyle.

You can now look like an American actress and model with this beach ready, bouncy new hairstyle!

Styling Steps

1. Apply Mousse

step 1

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

2. Part the Middle

step 2

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

3. Scrunch Dry Hair with a Blow-dryer and Fingers

step 3

Use your hand to scrunch the hair as you blow-dry. Remember to keep the blow-dryer on a low speed and heat setting and to leave some moisture in your hair.

4. Place Large Velcro Rollers in Hair

step 4

Take a section of hair no wider than the diameter of the velcro roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller down the hair shaft to the roots. Continue applying the velcro rollers all the way through the entire hair for a full volume finish throughout the sides. Keep the rollers in your hair for approximately 20 minutes.

5. Tease Hair

step 5

Pick up a small selection of hair from your mid section no bigger than your tail comb. Place your comb at the roots and then comb up and down until the hair is standing up by itself. Continue to the crown and finish at the sides. Repeat this step if you require more volume.

6. Scrunch Moulding Cream Through Hair with Fingers

step 6

Apply moulding cream to your fingertips and then tilt your head forward and scrunch your hair.

7. Apply Hairspray

step 7

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
