Tayshia Adams Long Straight Dark Brunette Hairstyle with Side Swept Bangs and Blonde Highlights

Added: 30 Jul 2021
Tayshia Adams is rocking this awesome hairstyle! The long length helps to frame her neck and face area well. The parting to the side helps to soften the edges of her face and you can see her jawline well. The only downside to this parting is that glasses will not suit this look as the bangs will get in the way. The highlights help bring something extra to the look as well as brightens her overall hair color which looks lovely. Her ends have been subtly curled which brings volume as well as movement to the look. You are going to need to cut your hair once every 4 weeks or so to ensure that your cut stays in shape and that the color will stick nicely to your hair. If you are going to add the color as well, you will need to touch up your color once every 6 weeks or so to ensure that the color stays vibrant and that your roots do not show.

When it comes to your makeup application, you want to keep it simple and natural. You can use your browns and golds for your lids or you can even do a simple wing liner. Finish off with a nude or pastel lip color and you are ready to take on your day!

step 1

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

step 2

Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.

step 3

When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. step 4

Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.

step 5

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
