Description

This two-tone hairdo is pulled over to one side to create an symmetric shape. The short jagged cut bangs sit perfectly on the forehead framing the top of the face completing the over-all style superbly. This is best suited for those with fine to medium hair. Regular trims will help prevent split ends.

Funky Side Swept Hairstyle With Short Jagged Cut Bangs- Visual Story

Styling Steps

1. Apply Mousse

step 1

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

2. Use a Blow-dryer and Fingers to Dry Your Hair Off

step 2

Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.

3. Part to the Right

step 3

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your right eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even right part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

4. Piece the Ends Using Wax

step 4

Apply a small amount of wax to your fingertips and then lightly piece and pinch the ends of your hair.

5. Style Bangs to the Left Using Wax

step 5

Apply wax to your fingertips then drag through your bangs, sweeping the hair to the left as you go. Pinching the ends will create soft texture.

6. Apply Hairspray

step 6

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
