Hairstyle Popularity Rating: ★★★★★

Matt Czuchry looks fantastic here in a chic, gelled 'do that is ideal for his face shape. The longer layers on top are styled back off the face while the sides are kept short and tidy for a sophisticated finish. Men with thick straight or wavy hair will suit this 'do well. Regular touch ups are needed to keep this style in check.

Matthew Charles Czuchry is an American actor. He is known for roles such as Logan Huntzberger on The WB television series Gilmore Girls and Cary Agos on the CBS television drama The Good Wife.

Styling Steps

1. Apply Gel Spray to Roots

Hold the gel spray no closer than 3 inches from your hair and then evenly mist the gel spray into the roots to create a stronger hold style. Gel spray will hold well and will not look wet or weigh the hair down. Using your gel spray in this fashion will create added hold and a longer lasting style.

2. Finger Dry the Back with Blow-dryer

Use your blow-dryer and your fingers to dry the back of your hair by moving your hair around to allow the heat to pass through it.

3. Part to the Left

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

4. Use a Small Radial Brush

A small radial brush is used on shorter hair types to add more body or in longer hair types to create curl. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.

5. Blow-dry the Top Back

Starting just above the crown take a section of your hair that is the same diameter as the brush. Place your brush underneath and at the roots of your section and then with your blow-dryer in front, drag the brush up and then turn it under when you reach the ends.

6. Blow-dry Bangs to the Left

To blow-dry your bangs you will need to take your brush and firstly make sure the section is no wider than the diameter of the brush. Next, place your brush on top of your head and under your section. Using your blow-dryer on a medium setting, blow-dry your hair from the roots, slowly working your way to the ends. Make sure to keep the blow-dryer in front of the brush at all times. Continue this step until the bangs are completely dry.

7. Style Hair Back and to the Right with Fingers and Gel

Use your fingers and your gel to pull your hair up and back while styling it to the right.
