Description

Chris Carmack's haircut often features medium to longer-length hair on the top of this look, and this is no different. The cut is typically layered to add texture and movement to the hair, which adds an extra dimension to his style. The layers are subtle in this hairstyle due to the longer hair on the top of this look, and the sides are shorter. The longer hair is ideal for those who want to create the illusion that their hair is thicker than it actually is, which is an easy point to consider if you have thin hair. Chris Carmack's hair has a naturally textured and wavy appearance, which adds to his overall charm, but he has straightened his hair in this look. He has created a classic and refined look with a side part, where the hair is neatly combed to the side. This style adds sophistication and can be suitable for formal occasions. Chris complements this style with some stubble which adds a rugged and masculine touch to this look.

Styling Steps

1. Part to the Left

step 1

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

2. Apply Straightening Balm

step 2

Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.

3. Use a Straightening Iron

step 3

When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. 4. Apply Hairspray

step 4

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
