Description

Elizabeth Banks is showing us that blondes do have more fun and can do so whilst still showing off a formal, classic hairstyle. The ends of this bob have been flicked out which creates nice movement as well as gives this look a sense of fun. The bob moves nicely with the face which is always a bonus. Her hair has been placed behind her ears which opens up this look nicely and If you want to, you can wear glasses with this look but it will look better without glasses. You are going to need to use a bit of hairspray with this look because you do not want to have flyaway hairs with this formal hairstyle.

You are going to need to cut your hair once every 4 weeks or so to keep your ends healthy, keep the bob in shape as well as allow the color to stick better to your hair for longer. You are going to need to color your hair once every 6 weeks or so to ensure that the color stays vibrant as well as prevents your roots from over growing. If you do not want to color your hair completely then you can add a few highlights to this look or you can dip dye your hair so that you do not have to color your hair as often.

Makeup-wise, you can do what you like, but just make sure that you do not have more than one focal point on your face. Do not forget to highlight and contour your face and neck area. You are going to love this hairstyle as well as the haircut!

Styling Steps

step 1

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

step 2

Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.

step 3

When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. step 4

Apply a small amount of gel to your fingertips, then place it at the roots above your ear and drag it through as you pull your hair behind your ear.

step 5

To finish, evenly mist gel spray around the top, sides and back to create a lasting style.
