Description

Apparently, Megan Fox had a baby. But if you didn't read this in the tabloids, would you have even known? Most of us would be none the wiser because she just looks so darn good. Well, she did reveal that she hired a night nurse so she could rest at night, which will do wonders for reducing your post-baby dark circles. In any case, Megan is flaunting a dramatic yummy mummy look here, with voluminous hair and bold makeup to match.

Her hair is in the classic Megan Fox style - long, wavy and parted in the centre. Her oval face looks fab in this style and you know what they say - if it ain't broke then don't fix it! These dark brunette locks are dressed in soft groovy waves to add body to the sides making it a great hairstyle to compliment a long face. This luscious look will need a small amount of product for hold and shine and regular trims to maintain a healthy look and feel.

Her makeup is not her usual style however. Who knows, perhaps it is reflecting her more serious outlook on life after becoming a mom. Megan has gone for an icy silver eye shadow and black eyeliner to define her light blue eyes. She has opted for an equally bold lip, choosing a ruby red shade and cheek rouge to match. A softer lip would have worked nicely here, or a minimalist eye with that dark red lippie. But hey, she's Megan Fox and can carry off anything she wants to. What do you think of this look?

Styling Steps

1. Apply Moisturizer

Moisturizer

Apply a small amount of hair moisturizer to the palm of your hand and distribute it evenly through the mid-lengths and the ends. Moisturizer will help your hair to maintain good condition and protect your strands from heat as you style.

2. Part the Middle

Partmiddle

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

3. Use a Large Radial Brush

Brushlarge

A large radial brush is usually used on long straight hair types or to smooth out wavy or curly hair textures. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.

4. Blow-dry the Back Under

Backunder

To blow-dry under, start at the nape/back and place your brush under the section of hair close to the nape. With the dryer held up over the hair, pull the brush from the roots and continue to the mid length's, keeping the blow-dryer following over the top. Once you reach the ends, curve them under. Repeat this step until the section is completely dry.

5. Blow-dry the Sides Under

Sidesunder

To blow-dry the sides, take out a small section of hair from the front and clip the rest of the hair away. Next, place the brush under the section and then pull the brush and hair forward around your face (this curving motion creates body). Place the hair-dryer on top of the brush until you reach the ends and then turn the ends under. Repeat until dry.

6. Use Large Hot Rollers

Largehotroller

A large hot roller is used to give your hair a larger curl and to add lots of body.

7. Apply Hot Rollers Through the Back

Backdownroller

Take the entire back section of your hair, and then starting from the crown, take a smaller section of hair no wider than the diameter of the hot roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller down the hair shaft until it meets your head and then secure it in place with a pin or clip. Repeat this step until you have reached the nape of your neck and the entire back section of your hair is completed. Keep the rollers in your hair until they cool.

8. Apply Hot Rollers Vertically to the Side

Verticalsideroller

Take a section of hair no wider than the diameter of the hot roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller vertically, making sure to roll it backwards, along the hair shaft to the roots and secure it with a pin or clip. Keep the rollers in your hair until they cool.

9. Apply Smoothing Shine

Smoothingshinefinishing

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

10. Apply Hairspray

Hairsprayfinishing

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
