This is such a fun and full-of-life hairstyle that Jaimie Alexander is sharing with us. She has a short hairstyle but the way in which her hair has been styled makes it look like she has a head of full, luscious hair that everyone will want to have! Short hairstyles that add volume to your crown can lengthen your face. Someone who wants to look longer than they actually are will benefit from this style. You'll also appear to have more hair than you actually do because of the volume. Someone whose hair is thinning will benefit from this technique. Ideally, you should cut your hair every 4 weeks in order to keep it in shape and to keep your ends healthy.
If you're applying makeup, go with a brown smokey eye with a color on the lower lash line to draw attention to your eyes and elongate them. You can even opt for no eye shadow or a very light shade for a soft glam look. Whenever you do this hairstyle, keep in mind that it draws more attention to your forehead, so make sure you contour your forehead and add blush to the center of your cheeks to create beautiful dimensions on your face.

Using the corner of your comb, create a straight part and then place your comb at the hairline and drag it through your hair, crisscrossing from left to right as you go. When you reach your crown, lift the comb up and then split the hair to each side, pulling it down to reveal your zigzag part.
Tip your head upside down and move the diffuser up to the ends, motioning the diffuser to the scalp in circular movements. Make sure the blow-dryer speed is on low and try not to completely dry the hair off. Leaving a little bit of moisture will allow the hair to dry naturally.
To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
