Donna Mills is sharing with us a gorgeous hairstyle that is taking us back to all the perfect memories from the good old days. The side parting brings focus to her eye area as well as helps to contour her cheek and neck area. The curls add some life and bounce to this hairstyle. Ensure your hair is curled on the third or fourth day after shampooing for even better results. The dirtier your hair is, the better your curls will hold. It will also save you a lot of prep time. Dry shampoo can be applied to your hair if the oil starts to build up after a few days, and it will freshen up your hair so that it won't look greasy and it will hold your curls nicely. It's important to cut your hair every 4 weeks or so to keep it in shape and to make sure the color sticks well to your hair. Adding color to your hair will require you to touch up the color every 6 weeks or so to keep the color vibrant and to prevent your roots from showing through.
You should use a brown smokey eye with a color on your lower lash line to draw attention to your eyes and lengthen them. A soft glam look can be achieved with a very light or no eye shadow, and a pink lip. Whenever you do this hairstyle, remember that it draws more attention to your forehead, so make sure to contour your forehead and add some blush to the middle of your cheeks to create beautiful dimensions to your face.

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.
2. Curl Mid-lengths and Ends with a Curling Iron
Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.
To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
