Visual Story
Description
This hairstyle might look simple but it speaks volumes! The bluntness of this look is bold and daring. Once you commit to you, you have to commit and stick with it. It is elegant and sophisticated and yet, has a more edger side to it as well. We love this look! There are a few copper highlights in this look that are few and far between but when they catch the light, they give this look a whole new feel.
You are going to need to trim your hair every 6 weeks or so to ensure that the look stays in shape and that your hair stays healthy. You do not want to lose the blunt look of this hairstyle. If you are going to highlight your hair as well, you are going to need to redo your color once every 6 weeks or so to keep the color vibrant.
Please remember to apply product to your hair before you straight it so that you can protect your hair from damage from the hair straighter.
Due to the way that your bangs are going to fall on edge of your cheekbones, glasses will not suit this look.

Styling Steps
Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.
2. Apply Straightening Balm
Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.
3. Use a Straightening Iron
When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
