Alyson Stoner has been dancing on our screens for years, and now she is bringing us a dark-haired look that is out of this world! This style is relatively simple for you to do at home. All you need to do is apply a straightening balm to your hair. This will help protect your hair from the heat caused by the iron. Iron your hair and use hairspray to ensure that you do not get flyaway hairs. Getting a blunt cut with a minimal maintenance style will help you get rid of split ends and increase the health of your hair overall, which is what Alyson has done since this is not her natural hair color. You should have a haircut every four weeks or so to keep your cut in shape and ensure that the color will adhere well to your hair. In order to keep the color vibrant and prevent your roots from showing, you will need to touch up your color about once every six weeks if you plan to add color.
Alyson has taken this look one step further with her makeup application. She has done a bold cat eye/ wing liner, which elongates her eyes. She has then added a bold lipstick color which ties in with the overall look. Keep in mind that it takes some practice to get a wing liner right, but once you do, you will love it!

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.
Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.
When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
