Katherine Mcnamara is a woman after my own heart! The style of her hair is simple yet elegant. The aspect of this look to focus on is the color! The candyfloss color of her hair is gorgeous and the lighter and blonder tips really tie this look together. It is light and yet really packs a punch!
You are going to need to trim your hair once every 6 weeks or so to keep the ends looking healthy. If you are going to do the highlights as well, you are going to need to touch up your roots as well as tips every 4 weeks or so to keep the color looking vibrant and bright.
Makeup-wise, you can do a natural-looking makeup or you can do a smokey eye with nice lashes. Do not forget to highlight and contour your face. You want the color of this look to be the star of the show so don't forget that you do not want your makeup to be overpowering.

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.
Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.
To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
