Description

Izabella Miko looks drop dead gorgeous in this hairstyle and so can you! Her long luscious locks frame her face so nicely. The side bangs show off her cheekbones and the curls at the ends show off her collar bones. This is a hairstyle made in heaven!

There is a bit of prep that is needed to achieve this look in the morning but we promise you it will be worth it! The side path gives the hair volume on one side and the curls do the rest. A bit of mousse is needed to hold in the locks and some hairspray to keep strands from flying away.
This casual hairstyle will turn heads in no time!

Styling Steps

1. Apply Mousse

Placeholder articles

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

2. Part to the Left

Placeholder articles

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

3. Blow-dry Bangs to the Left

Placeholder articles

To blow-dry your bangs you will need to take your brush and firstly make sure the section is no wider than the diameter of the brush. Next, place your brush on top of your head and under your section. Using your blow-dryer on a medium setting, blow-dry your hair from the roots, slowly working your way to the ends. Make sure to keep the blow-dryer in front of the brush at all times. Continue this step until the bangs are completely dry.

4. Use a Blow-dryer and Fingers to Dry Your Hair Off

Placeholder articles

Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.

5. Use Medium Hot Rollers

Placeholder articles

A medium hot roller is used to give your hair looser curls and can also be used for body.

6. Apply Hairspray

Placeholder articles

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
