Debbie Gibson Long Curly Blonde and Light Blonde Two-Tone Hairstyle with Side Swept Bangs

Added: 05 Mar 2019
Debbie is showing us that volume is everything! There is so much going on with this hairstyle and we are loving every aspect of it. Firstly, the side swept, straight bangs shape her face so nicely and really puts emphasis on her eye and cheekbone area. The big curls give this look volume and depth which we have not seen in a while. This hairstyle is casual and fun and yet can be pulled off by most people. Due to the big curls and side swept bangs, glasses would not suit this look so well which means that you are going to have to pull out the contact lenses.

This look takes time to pull off but once you do, a bit of hairspray and you are good to go! Makeup-wise, you do not need a lot of makeup as the hairstyle is the star of the show.

step 1

To blow-dry your bangs to the side, clip the back and side sections up, leaving just your bangs out. Place your brush beneath your bangs, holding your hair to the side and remembering to hold the tension between your hair and brush. With your blow-dryer on a low setting, apply heat by starting at the roots and make sure to stretch your hair out to the ends. Repeat until your hair is dry.

step 2

A large hot roller is used to give your hair a larger curl and to add lots of body.

step 3

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
