Make sure your hair is detangled before shampooing and conditioning. Work the shampoo through your hair as usual, but remember that it should take more time to thoroughly cover every strand. Shake out any extra moisture before towel-drying, and instead of stroking your hair back and forth, massage it in the direction it grows. You are going to want to use roller brushes to dry and style your hair and make sure that the layers are looking clean. Once you are done styling your hair, use a light amount of hairspray to lock in the look and you are ready to show off your new unique hairstyle!
