Hair Knots

Call it a bun, call it a topknot, call it whatever you want, just as long as you rock one this spring as it's one of "the" hairstyles to wear in 2013.

While most of the knots on the runways were low, there's no reason why you can't experiment with the placement and wear something that suits your style better. Need some inspiration? Then check these out!

Hayden Panettiere is bang on trend with this low side-swept knot. This look will be hot in 2013, except that there will be a more polished look to it—think deep straight side parts and slicked down hair rather than Hayden's carefree windblown look. To get this style, create a tight ponytail and the nape of the neck and twist the hair to form a knot. Secure and add a shine spray all over.

If you want to go for a more formal knot, try one like Christa B. Allen. This topknot is situated at the back of the head creating a sophisticated style.

Or, if you want something a little funkier, twist your hair on the side of the head at the top. Add a flower or other hair accessory like our model has done here for some extra style points.
