How to Soften Up a Square Face
If you have a very square face or a very angular jawline, you've probably done some research on how to make the most of your features while softening up your lines.
Jessica is wearing her hair just past the shoulder, which is a great hair length for squares. It's true for square face shapes that the longer the hair, the better when it comes to softening up their features. If you prefer short hair, you can pull this off too, but just make sure that your cut doesn't end at the jawline and it has plenty of layers around the face.
Another good tip is to add some diagonal lines to your look to get rid of the square shape. Along with getting layers in your lengths and ends, add a cheekbone-length side-swept fringe. If you don't like wearing hair on your forehead, you can always sweep it off the face and to the side for the same effect, as seen on Jessica.
