Visual Story

Description

Blessed with shiny dark locks, exotic features and that glowing complexion, it must be hard to look anything but fabulous. However, her new hair color has received some less than favorable feedback. Let’s see what is going on with Lea Michele's hair lately.

This ombre hairdo is left to fall naturally over the shoulders showing off movement and shape. The jagged cut bangs are worn flat to frame the top of the face and completes the over-all look perfectly. Regular trims is needed to prevent split ends.

Lea is usually rocking a deep espresso brown shade, which looks fabulous with her dark brown eyes and tanned complexion. Here, she has added heavy highlights in a dark golden blonde and light brown to give her a dark on top, light on the bottom look. Was she trying to go for the ever-popular ombré look? If so, it’s a fail because it doesn’t have that nice fade as seen on celebs such as Jessica Biel and Drew Barrymore. In fact, she has lightened her hair pretty much everywhere except for the front section, which looks odd. The lighter color itself is quite nice, but come on Lea, go big or go home. Why not just do your entire head? Boldly placed highlights can look uber cool and trendy, but unfortunately Lea’s just shy of the mark on this one. What do you think of her new ‘do?
