Get a great daytime makeup look inspired by Kerry Washington.

Kerry Washington is looking foxy and fresh with her glossy locks and gorgeous daytime makeup in this photo, and there’s no doubt that women everywhere will want to copy it! Kerry’s makeup will look great on women with medium and dark skin tones who crave a sexy daytime look that isn’t over the top.

Kerry Washington hairstylesTo start with, Kerry has created a soft smoky eye that is dramatic enough to make her eyes the center of attention, but delicate enough for daytime wear. This is done by applying a light neutral eye shadow across the eyelid, followed by layers of dark brown eye shadow that has been carefully applied around the lash lines with a thin makeup brush. For more definition you can use a thin application of eyeliner, but topping it off with mascara will work just fine on its own.

Next, add a rosy glow to your complexion by using a rosy blush or highlighter on the cheekbones. Go as sheer as you can to keep this makeup looking fresh and natural.

To emphasize those lips, use a light rose pink like Kerry, preferably one with a lot of sheerness and sheen. Kerry’s makeup looks extra fab paired with her wavy bob and eye-skimming fringe but this makeup suits all hairstyles and hair color, so give it a try!
