Give your tanned skin a glow with these makeup ideas inspired by Aubrey O'Day.

Singer-slash-actress Aubrey O’Day has never been one to blend into the crowd, and her latest look is sure to turn heads wherever she goes. Deviating from her usual blonde locks, Aubrey has bold red hair that looks fantastic with her bright blue eyes and tanned skin. In this photo (below), she has coordinated her makeup to match her funky turquoise and coral dress, but this makeup will suit most light spring and summer colors.

To get the look:

Aubrey O’Day hairstyles1. Use a dark brown eyeliner on the top and bottom lash lines. Use a heavier line on top, and a thinner line that is smudged out on the bottom to avoid the raccoon look. Aubrey’s eyes are small and close-set so concentrating on the outer edges is key. She adds extra glam with mile long fake lashes, but plain old mascara will look good too.

2. On your lips, choose a light peach shade that is just slightly lighter than your skin tone. Stay away from colors that are too orange and vibrant, for this look you want a softer, lighter tone.

3. The bold red hair color is optional, but do make sure you choose a glam hairdo to complete the look, like Aubrey’s voluminous curls.
