Andrew James Allen Medium Straight Casual Hairstyle

Added: 31st December 2009
This is a great hairstyle for those looking for a hairstyle with a bit of edge. The ends all over are jagged cut for texture and style which allows it to sit perfectly to best suit those with long face shapes.

Smoothingshine
1 . Apply Smoothing Shine

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Smoothing shine will work best on any hair type and style, but is especially good for smoothing down frizzy hair.

2 . Part to the Left

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

Dryoff
3 . Use a Blow-dryer and Fingers to Dry Your Hair Off

Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.

Backout
4 . Wax the Back of Hair Out

Using wax and your fingers grab the mid-lengths of your hair and then drag it out and upwards for a full and messy result. Remember not to overdo the wax or your result will be a flat and greasy style.

5 . Wax Side Behind Ear

Apply a small amount of wax to your fingertips, then place it at the roots above your ear and drag it through as you pull your hair behind your ear.

6 . Style Bangs to the Right Using Wax

Apply wax to your fingertips then drag through your bangs, sweeping the hair to the right as you go. Pinching the ends will create soft texture.
