Amy Childs is a reality TV star from Britain who also owns her own beauty salon. This girl loves to experiment with her style, which usually consists of hair extensions, lots of fake tan and showing as much cleavage as possible, so it was quite a surprise when she created a super high beehive with her mahogany hair! While she gets points for having the courage to flaunt such a show stopping style, the question is - is this hairdo stylish, or just plain scary?
Amy has the face shape and youth to pull it off, that's for sure. The beehive also shows off her highlights nicely and complements her baby blue eyes. She has made a smart move and left her fringe down to soften her face, which has been layered to frame her eyes and cheekbones and completes the over-all look brilliantly. Scraping all of her hair back would have looked way too severe!
If it's a big and bold 'do you're after, then this might be the one. If you think this look is stylish, you can get it too by teasing your hair at the roots to achieve maximum height and lift, and moulding it to perfection to create this modernized version of the classic beehive... although this is one style that is probably best left to a professional to tackle.
On the other hand, if you think this style is scary but you like the retro vibe, you can create a toned down version, making a small bouffant in a half-updo style.
