Men's Hairstyles

By Roy Caccamo, THS Hair Consultant

Men's fashion, including hairstyles, has certainly come a long way. Gone are the days when the only decision made by men was simply whether they'd have a short haircut or no haircut (there was nothing between these two options at all). Thankfully, times have changed. Men all over the world are trying different hairstyles as well as experimenting with color and texture changes. And I'm not just talking about the super self-conscious "metrosexual" trend, but most guys all over the place.

A big defining feature of men's hairstyles now is the contrast between short razor-cutting (which has maintained its popularity) and slightly longer "texture styles" that are heavier on top.

Gone are the days too when conservatives in fashion magazines proudly proclaimed that facial hair is something a guy should leave behind at 30. Beards and facial hair are now an established trend on many guys, including celebrities. (Isn't it rare to see Brad Pitt without some sort of goatee?)
