Malin Akerman Medium Wavy Bob Hairstyle - Light Blonde
Malin Akerman is flaunting a cool wavy bob here that has a fabulous finish to it. This hairstyle looks great on her round face shape and is ideal for her high, rounded hairline. This ‘do gives Malin oodles of volume at the crown and has tons of texture throughout. Ladies with a fine hair texture like hers will benefit from this hairstyle that makes the hair more voluminous thanks to the layers throughout. Malin has gone with a side-swept fringe that flatters her high forehead and gives her 'do a sexy peek-a-boo effect.
Malin's color is another stand out feature of this ‘do. Her locks have been highlighted with streaks of soft platinum blonde and light ash tones, giving her locks a shiny and healthy sun-kissed, ultra light finish. This hair hue looks lovely with her warm complexion and icy blue eyes. For best results, toning treatments are needed to keep this color looking icy cool, rather than brassy.
Malin Åkerman is a Swedish Canadian actress, model and singer. She became known for making appearances in several Canadian productions.

1 . Apply Mousse
Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.
2 . Part to the Left
Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.
3 . Use a Medium Radial Brush
A medium radial brush is used on medium to long hair types to smooth out wavy or curly hair textures or to add body to straight hair. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.
4 . Use a Blow-dryer to Kick Out the Back
Starting at the nape/back of the hair, place your brush on top of the section and blow-dryer down starting from the roots and using tension as you go. Next, place the blow-dryer underneath the hair and continue to blow-dry the ends out. Make sure to follow the brush with the blow-dryer in an outwards direction. If you like fuller flicks, hold the ends out and roll them up into the brush and apply the heat for longer.
5 . Use a Blow-dryer to Kick Out the Sides
To blow-dry the sides, take out your first sections from the front and clip the rest of the hair up. Place your brush on top of the section, and starting from the roots, blow-dry down using tension as you go. Next, place the blow-dryer underneath the hair and continue to blow-dry the ends out. Continue this step until the hair is dry.
6 . Blow-dry the Crown
To blow-dry the crown/top sections, take a section of hair no bigger than the diameter of the brush and blow-dry the hair placing the brush under the section of hair. With your blow-dryer in front of the brush, follow the brush in an upwards direction at the roots and an outwards position at the ends for volume and softness. Continue until the section is dry.
7 . Blow-dry Bangs Forward to the Right
When blow-drying your bangs to the side, section your hair up and clip your hair back to leave only your bangs out. Remember to make sure that your bangs are damp to make blow-drying more effective. Next, take your brush and place it underneath the hair and then blow-dry starting from the roots, adding tension to the hair as you go. Slowly pull your section down to the ends and continue until dry.
8 . Use a Medium Curling Iron
A medium curling iron is used to create medium sized curls.
9 . Curl Mid-lengths and Ends with a Curling Iron
Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.
10 . Scrunch Moulding Cream Through Hair with Fingers
Apply moulding cream to your fingertips and then tilt your head forward and scrunch your hair.
11 . Apply Hairspray
To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
