Long Curly Hairstyle With Maximum Body And Fullness

Added: 10 Nov 2010
This long curly blonde hairstyle is a great way to add some color and texture to your hair. This look can be worn by women with any hair color, but we love it when women go light on the highlights so as not to overpower the overall look.

Our model has a long, curly blonde hairstyle with beautiful hazel-colored eyes. She wears a black moonlight top with peachy makeup that gives her the perfect blend of pale skin and crimson lips. A combination of medium to long layers gives this look maximum body and fullness all over, which makes it perfect for those with long face shapes. This long hairstyle is perfect for oval, oblong, and square faces. This layered hairstyle is ideal for medium to thick hair textures that add fullness to your frame. The ombre look will fade gradually from the color at the roots to a lighter shade at the ends, making the style look very natural and effortless. A side part will add more freshness to this style. This blonde hairstyle is a great look for any occasion. The hair has been highlighted with gradual strokes from root to tip, and the curl is cut just below the crown. This long curly style will keep your long hair looking sleek and stylish!

You can maintain this hairstyle with regular trimming after 4 to 6 weeks. It's a great hairstyle for long and curly hair, though you can try it on other types of hair as well. Use a medium curling iron in thick sections of your hair to add tight curls into the mid-lengths and ends.

step 1

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

step 2

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

step 3

Tip your head upside down and move the diffuser up to the ends, motioning the diffuser to the scalp in circular movements. Make sure the blow-dryer speed is on low and try not to completely dry the hair off. Leaving a little bit of moisture will allow the hair to dry naturally.

step 4

A medium curling iron is used to create medium sized curls.

step 5

Starting at the front, take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your roots. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards. Continue this step until all of the hair through your front and sides has been curled.

step 6

Starting from the back, take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your roots. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards. Continue this step until the entire back section of your hair is completed.

step 7

Pick up a small selection of hair from your mid section no bigger than your tail comb. Place your comb at the roots and then comb up and down until the hair is standing up by itself. Continue to the crown and finish at the sides. Repeat this step if you require more volume.

step 8

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

step 9

Lacquer is great for strong hold. A small amount is all that is required to finish and should be applied from an arms length distance to the entire style.
