This look is easy to style and maintain and the color choice is also fine. I like the blonde highlights on top because they add definition and sophisticated character to what would otherwise be a very plain look.

Hair Consultant: I believe that this Mohawk shaped hairstyle adds further height and length to David's already long oblong face shape. What he needs is to add width not height. With this type of hairstyle, the color needs to be somewhat outrageous. Either very light, bright or dark.

Verdict: The wrong shape that accentuates height not needed while the color is just flat.

Hair Consultant: I like the look of this hairstyle on David. For a start it provides width through the sides balancing out his normally long face shape while the front bangs also help to shorten the vertical length. This casual look is easy to maintain and achieve but he will need to grow the sides and back down first. The lighter overall color with added highlights also suits David's fair/white complexion to a tee. According to David's before shot, his hair appears to have strong growth patterns forward and across, just what is needed with this look. It's far easier working with growth patterns rather than struggling against them.

Verdict: My Favorite! I love the free flowing shape and also the color. The bangs will make David feel more comfortable as well. It's definitely my pick in the medium straight range.
